In 2006, Carmento Floyd received permission from the Links National organization to begin a Links Interest group in Columbia, Missouri. In the Summer of 2012, Ladies of Links approached Carolyn Allen about developing an interest group. In Fall 2012, Benecia Raynell Williams volunteered to serve as the Chapter Organizer and work collaboratively with Carolyn Allen and other interested women to form the Central Missouri Women's Connection.
